Plea change hearing set for Minnesota man accused of assault in Grafton

GRAFTON — A plea change hearing is set for a Minnesota man accused of an assault in Grafton back in June.

The Worth County Sheriff’s Department took a report on June 30th of an assault that happened at the Grafton Community Center, with the victim suffering three facial fractures and required six stitches to the face. Jordan Bursell of Winnebago Minnesota was later charged with willful injury causing bodily injury.

Bursell’s trial was scheduled to start on December 11th, but his attorney filed a written plea of guilty in Worth County District Court earlier this month. Bursell’s formal plea change hearing is scheduled for December 9th.
