Nine-year-old dead after accident near Rudd

RUDD — A nine-year-old has died after a two-car accident near Rudd on Saturday morning.
The Iowa State Patrol says the accident happened at around 6:35 AM at Rudd Park Road and Glass Avenue when a vehicle driven by 29-year-old Jesse Blade failed to stop at a stop sign on Glass Avenue, broadsiding a vehicle driven by 57-year-old Ronald Fisher.
A passenger, nine-year-old Royce Fisher, died as a result of the accident. Ronald Fisher, as well as 50-year-old Sarah Fisher and 11-year-old Aidyn Kline were injured. No home towns of any of those involved in the accident were released by the State Patrol.
The accident remains under investigation.
