MASON CITY — A Mason City man has been jailed on a drug distribution charge.

44-year-old Matthew Parcel was arrested on Wednesday. A criminal complaint states that Parcel was taken into custody in the zero block of 14th Place Northwest after law enforcement discovered that he was possessing over five grams but less than five kilograms of methamphetamine. Parcel allegedly also had a scale and baggies with him.
