The Annual River City Morning Kiwanis Spaghetti Dinner will be held Thursday, January 25, 2024, at the Columbia Club (formerly Knights of Columbus Hall). Tickets are available from any Kiwanis member or at the door. Dinners will be eat-in or carry-out!

Join The Music Man Square for a FREE Pre- Winter Dance Party Sock Hop on January 27th, 2024. The fun starts at 4:00 with The Mercury 3 rocking the stage until 6:00! There will be plenty of room on the dance floor for all ages to cut a rug! The Candy Kitchen Ice Cream Parlor will be open and a Cash Bar available too.

Mason City Family YMCA Fitness Fair on Saturday January 27th from 10 AM until 1 PM. Come tour the facility, meet the instructors of our Aquatics and Group Exercise classes, participate in exercise class demos and more! Stop by the Simply Nourished booth to try samples and meet their staff.

Mason City Public Library Author Visit on Saturday January 27th at 2:00 PM. Darcy Maulsby the author of "The Lincoln Highway in Iowa: A History" will be in the Mason City Room at the Library for a visit.

Mason City Newman Catholic presents "Singing Valentine's". Newman students will sing a song of choice and deliver a rose and chocolates to someone special with in the Mason City area for $35. Delivered on Wednesday February 14th from 11 AM to 3 PM in Mason City. Orders are being taken now through February 12th at 3 PM.
