Join Women United for the second annual Power of the Purse!

November 7 at the Clear Lake VFW from 6:00-8:00 p.m.

Women United is hosting the second annual Power of the Purse on Tuesday, November 7, 2023 to benefit female-led households living in economic hardship. The event will feature a live auction of designer bags and bundles donated by amazing local businesses.

The event is being held at the Clear Lake VFW located at 219 Main Avenue, Clear Lake and starts at 6:00 p.m. with a cocktail and hors d’oeuvre with a live auction starting at 6:30 p.m.

Women United is a program within the United Way of North Central Iowa. Women United is led by its members –women across Cerro Gordo, Floyd, Hancock, Worth, Franklin, Mitchell, Winnebago, and Kossuth counties. I am a Women United member. Our mission is to reduce the impact of gender-based economic inequality to female-led households. We believe this can be accomplished when women target resources, build relationships, and exchange knowledge.
