North Iowa STEM Festival 🔬👨💻👨🔬

Bring your whole family to the North Iowa STEM Festival on Wednesday, April 17 from 4-7PM at North Iowa Area Community College Gymnasium in Mason City! Experience fun, hands-on activities at this interactive Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) event. The festival is free and open to the public with activities best suited for elementary students (K-6).
The goals of the festival are to promote, inspire and engage youth in STEM activities and to introduce children and parents to STEM careers in their local communities. Exhibits will feature interactive STEM activities for children and their families provided by numerous local businesses and organizations. Attendees can learn about the science of fermentation while making pizza dough, test out a 3D scanner and printer, explore electric circuits, encounter live animals, and so much more! This event is brought to you by North Iowa Area Community College, Iowa State University Extension and Outreach: Cerro Gordo County, the Mason City Chamber of Commerce, Cerro Gordo Clean Energy District, the Mason City Community School District, and the Iowa Governor’s STEM Advisory Council.
