Dillion Harris & Family Benefit 🎗

Please join us in supporting Dillon & his family. Benefit will include raffle items, silent auction, & bake sale items. Walking tacos will be served.

In May, Dillon received a phone call from his doctor after completing an annual check-up. Despite a clean bill of health the previous year, he was told to go to the Emergency Room immediately due to his test results indicating extremely poor kidney function. Dillon was admitted to the hospital for 4 days & diagnosed with sudden Chronic Kidney Disease, although the doctors are unable to determine the cause. Dillon’s kidney function at that time was only at 15% and continued to rapidly decline. He began dialysis in mid-September and shortly after, completed the 3-day evaluation in Rochester that is required to be added to their organ transplant list. Without a living donor, the average wait time for an available transplant is 3 – 5 yrs.

Proceeds from this benefit will be used to pay for transportation costs related to the many appointments he has to attend in both Mason City and in Rochester, missed time from work to attend these appointments, clothing purchases due to
the rapid weight loss caused by the diet restrictions & fluid intake limits, increased costs of foods due to diet restrictions, and insurance deductibles.
