All are welcome for an inspirational, music-filled evening headlined by beloved local and well-known international musicians.
In March, during a workshop presented by United to Serve with Passion and Purpose, the Chamber of Commerce team brainstormed the possibility of a kid-friendly community event. United to Serve then cast a vision for a family festival event featuring Christian bands, recreational activities, and vendors. It’s meant to spark joy, ignite memories, and build community in a positive, faith-filled environment. This event continues what was started by Bash on the Farm, a previously successful North Iowa musical festival. One Vision has partnered in coordinating activities, and they are offering their expertise to ensure individuals of all abilities will enjoy the event. This Festival has united many volunteers from North Iowa businesses, churches, and other organizations to work together to make this dream a reality.
It all kicks off with a week-long vacation Bible school using the “Go Fish” curriculum. Go Fish is a high-energy band confirmed for an afternoon performance. Following that, local musicians Awaken the Dust will bring a powerful performance to the stage. Rend Collective will be headlining in the evening. The Northern Irish Christian folk rock worship band promises to create an extraordinary experience to ensure the longevity of Bash at the Lake.
We invite you to embrace what is sure to become an annual event; indulge in the experience, stay for the community, make memories with those you love.
Bash at the Lake is produced by United to Serve with Passion & Purpose, a 501(c)3 non-profit and is funded by business sponsorships, churches, foundations, and individual donations.
Clear Lake, Iowa is situated on a natural spring-fed lake off I-35 just two hours north of Des Moines and two hours south of Minneapolis. This rural oasis of about 7500 doubles in population during the summer as people flock to the lake.
