Relay For Life of Cerro Gordo County will hold its 2nd annual “Bark For Life” event on Saturday, October 6th.
The event, which celebrates our furry friends and the happiness they provide to patients on their journey through cancer treatments, will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. in East Park in Mason City.
All dogs and their owners are welcome to participate. Registration can be obtained the morning of the event or on the “Bark For Life – American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life of Cerro Gordo County, IA” Facebook page. The fee is $15 for one dog (no t-shirt included), or $25 for one dog (t-shirt included). There is a $5 fee for each additional dog. All participating dogs must have up-to-date shots and must be leashed at all times.
Proceeds from the event will support the society’s mission of saving lives by working hard to create a world free from the pain and misery caused by cancer.
Together we can beat our biggest rival: cancer. Join a team or donate to Relay For Life of Cerro Gordo County. Visit RelayForLife.org/cerrogordocountyia or call Steve with the American Cancer Society at 641-251-1082 for more information.
