📚 Author Talk: Kelli Lage at the Mason City Public Library

Lage’s debut book, Early Cuts, was recently released in late spring 2023. Early Cuts is a journey of trauma and the healing process told through poetry. In this collection, Lage explores complex emotions under sections labeled “The Cut,” “The Infection,” “The Healing,” and “The Scar.”

Lage is a poetry reader for Bracken Magazine and Best of the Net nominated poet. She will attend the University of Iowa’s Iowa Writers Workshop summer program this year. Her poetry chapbook, I’m Glad We Did This, is forthcoming fall 2023 with Prolific Pulse Press.
