Clear Lake officially “iced-in”

CLEAR LAKE — The cold weather the last few days has led to Clear Lake being officially declared as “iced-in”.

Water Plant Superintendent Adam Theiss says the lake is officially iced in as of this (Tuesday) morning. Last year the iced-in date was on November 13th.

The earliest iced-in date was in 1991 when the lake was completely iced over on November 4th. The latest an iced-in date has ever occurred for Clear Lake was on December 24th in 2001.
